Mint White Hot Chocolate

Lynn demonstrates a delicious Mint White Chocolate that is perfect to serve on St. Patrick‚Äôs Day.  Adapted from via Pinterest.


  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups half & half
  • 8 ounces white chocolate, chopped (I used white chocolate chips)
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • A few drops of green food coloring
  • Marshmallows or whipped cream, optional for topping

In a heavy-bottomed pot, heat the milk and cream over medium heat for 5 minutes.  Stir in the white chocolate, remove from heat and set aside for a few minutes.  Add the peppermint extract and food coloring and whisk until smooth.  Pour into mugs and top with marshmallows or whipped cream, as desired.

Serve immediately.  Serves 4.
